Join the NYC Compost Project in Manhattan for a bike tour of 5 community garden Compost Demo Sites in East Harlem. Compost Demo Sites are locations, (community gardens, parks, schools, and institutions), with exemplary composting operations that are committed to teaching New Yorkers about the benefits of composting. These sites have been formally recognized by the NYC Compost Project and provide in-the-field expertise on how to compost or improve your existing composting program. Registration required.

The tour will begin at Carver Community Garden, located at 242 East 124th St between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, NY, NY 10035. After this garden, we will visit 4 other sites in the area.
